The YWCA Greater Harrisburg is seeking a full-time Visitation Team Lead. This position is responsible for daily oversight of the Visitation Center’s operation, as well as, scheduling and supervising visits for infants, toddlers, and children with their families withing our Visitation Center.

- Hours: 37.5 hour work week; Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
- On-call rotation on an as needed basis for Saturday coverage (8:30am-5pm)
- Pay rate $21.54 - $23.08/hr., depending on experience.
- Schedule and conduct client intakes/orientations for program participants.
- Provide monitored visitation services for families referred through the court system and Dauphin County Children and Youth.
- Document observations of the quality and content of the contact between child(ren) and family during visits.
- Maintain client files and casebook information in a timely and consistent manner.
- Participate in preparing reports as required, which may include recommendation for appropriate placement and changes to visitation plan.
- Intervening and terminating program services when necessary.
- Assist Chief Program Officer with preparation of funding reports and invoicing.
- Assist with the development and distribution of community education brochures and/or materials.
- Testify in dependency or termination court hearings as necessary.
- Provide service data to Visitation Program Team Lead as requested for billing and reporting purposes.
- Participate in continuing education and training programs on topics related to domestic violence, sexual assault, substance abuse, anger management, and other topics deemed appropriate.
Position Requirements:
- Associate degree in social work, human services or mental health field – Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience in Visitation, Social Work, and/or Case Management.
- Proven experience/ability to communicate well verbally and in writing, and to work effectively and respectfully with a broad range of people from diverse cultural, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Successful completion of Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence training.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, database experience a plus.
- Must be able to work as part of a team, maintaining professional attitude and respectful demeanor with clients, co-workers and supervisors at all times.
- Must be able to work non-traditional hours, including some nights and weekend days.
- State Police, Child Abuse and FBI clearances required.
