The YWCA Greater Harrisburg is seeking a full-time Team Leader for our Housing & Homelessness Department (HHS). This position is responsible for meeting program standards and ensuring a high quality of services for all clients receiving services.

- Hours: 37.5 hour work week; Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
- Adhere to and support the policies of the YWCA of Greater Harrisburg.
- Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate HHS Transitional direct service staff to ensure quality service provision, including monitoring the goals and objectives of individual staff. This includes at a minimum, providing monthly supervision and check-in sessions, documentation of performance discussions, and providing professional development opportunities.
- Provide oversight to ensure a high-quality client case management system including data quality and the completion and submission of accurate case management-related materials as required. Case management includes but is not limited to accurate and timely completion of intake/initial contact forms, assessments, HMIS data collection and entry, individual goals plan development, and ensuring case management notes and services are completed and entered within 24-48 hours of contact.
- Conduct and/or coordinate pre-screening of SSVF/TIP referrals and providing rapid resolution services to include internal and external referrals to the appropriate programs.
- Ensure thorough and accurate use of Casebook including timely opening/closing of cases, completion of intake and workflow documents, goal plan creation and progress updates, and thorough case management notes.
- Review files for completeness and ensuring that information is entered into the appropriate internal and external databases.
- Facilitate client case reviews, case conferencing, and monitoring the quality of case management notes and goal plans.
- Monitor program occupancy to maintain 100% occupancy in Transitional programs and ensuring timely completion of recertifications and income changes for residents.
- Ensure program vacancies are timely communicated to Veterans Affairs and to the YWCA’s Coordinated Entry Program Manager.
- Recommend and implement approved professional life skills sessions for program participants using community collaborations and in-house expertise.
- Prepare and submit monthly statistical and programmatic reports to HHS Director.
- Assist with the development of and implementation of yearly work plans for HHS services and program staff.
- Identify and recommend new program directions/resources for improvement or expansion of current programs.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, as assigned, to develop resources that support increased access to benefits, housing, and supportive services.
- Attending yearly continuing education on topics related to housing and homelessness and veteran-specific services.
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field with prior supervisory experience. An Associates degree with three (3) years of supervisory or management experience will also be considered.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding in social services, veteran benefits, and other supportive services.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving history, and reliable personal vehicle. Proof of insurability may also be required.
